Cruise Control And Brake Lights Out. Replaced Stop Light Switch, Still Out

The cruise control went went out and I replaced the stop light switch. The cruise control does not work and neither do the brake lights. I checked all the fuses and they are ok. I replaced the stoplight switch again and the problem still is there.
