It Will Turn On You Hear The Fuel Pump It Just Won't Start

Im haveing problems with getting my truck (gmc sonoma)to start,earlier driveing it,it would just die but would start right back up until i stopped for about an hour then tried to leave and it wouldn't start,I can hear the fuel pump so now I'm not sure what it is.
