Wants To But Doesn't Start?

I know that my BCM is bad on my '99 Denali (because my windows, wipers and radio work intermittently) but after a day of regular driving, I parked and then went to start and it actually started but shut right off as if it was out of gas. I put more gas in but it still doesn't start. Could this be something other than the fuel pump or fuel relay?
