Engine Oil Start Up Pressure Increasing Over The Years.

The engine oil start up pressure has been steadily increasing over the years. It now goes up to the 411? kpascal mark until warm when it stays at about 309 to 343 when at driving speeds above 80 kms. On infrequent occassions the indicator will show brief episodes of pressure drops of around two gradients (I believe the gradients indicate about 34 kpascals). These episodes are like dramatic twitches ie not steady and can occur at any driving speed. At what point is the engine oil pressure too high? What would your trouble shooting procedure be? Thankyou for your time and insights.
