Washer Door Will Not Lock

I have the Frigidaire gleh1642fso washer/dryer and one day the washer would start & washer door would not lock.  The dryer still works fine.  What might be wrong?

Hi – From what you have described the washer itself may have a faulty lid switch or defective wiring. Since the door is not closing properly the washer will not start. Either, or, could be faulty at this time. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
