Loud Noise When Turned On, Wont Drain

My washer has this loud noise when I start it. It started to spin a few times when I first pushed the start button, but then stopped and all I hear is this really loud humming. The last time it worked it was on the final spin, but never finished and left standing water in the bottom. I couldnt get it to finish draining the water and then the noise started. Help!!
