Frigidaire Gallery Series Side By Side Refrigerator/freezer About 12 Years Old.
Refrigerator side not cooling, freezer runs constantly and is down to about 5 degrees, but never cycles off. Technician not available until July 27th. Do we let it run or shut it down until we can get the technician out here?

From what you have described you might have a damper concern, or you might have a compressor and control board concern. Personally I would leave the unit running - even though you do not hear or see it go off once the temperature may be satisfied inside of the unit. If you turn it off you may risk the chance of the unit not turning back on if the control board and/or the compressor is faulty.
