Compressor Is Always On.
When unit is plugged in the compressor turns on before ac power bottom is pushed. When coolin fan will stop running but compressor stays on.

From my understanding the compressor on your Frigidaire air conditioner, FRA256SV2, is not turning off. It sounds like it could possibly be an issue with your control panel or relay on your compressor. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend you having a technician out to your home to properly diagnose and repair your air conditioner. Hope this is helpful. –Chris
