Hello phenomenal77 - When was the last time the filter was cleaned? I suggest to check for blockage at garbage disposal, drain for blockage or to verify if the hose is twisted or kinked? However, if the unit is making a grinding noise and there is no blockage then the unit may possibly have a defective drain motor which will need replacing. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
