Frigidaire Fghn2844lf Runs Continuously

Is it normal for this refrigerator to run almost continuously?

With energy efficient units produced in last 5-6 years, yes. This is actually more efficient than turning off and on. It requires much more power to turn off and back on. Similar to turning an AC on and off rather than just set it for a constant yet comfortable temperature. Also the unit will run until the inside of the unit is satisfied to the set temperature on the control panel. If you live somewhere with hot weather or high humidity in your home, your unit will most likely not turn off often.
