We Bought A New Frigidaire Dishwasher In 2006. Shortly Later The Element Got Too

CLOSE TO THE PLASTIC TUB AND BURNED A HOLE IN IT RUINING THE DISHWASHER. WHAT CAN FRIGIDAIRE DO ABOUT THIS.

Well from what you described, there is only a small few reasons why the element would burn the plastic tub liner. The element bent - it bends from not getting enough water on it through the wash cycle from the sprayer arms. Either your arms were loose and not spraying correctly, completely broken off and not noticed, or the water pressure is not correct and is not spraying water in the unit as it is designed. Frigidaire will most likley not be able to assist with the repairs unless you have an extended warranty coverage plan purchased on the unit. However they may be able to provide parts at a discounted rate depending on your history.
