This seems to be a common complaint in online reviews of this freezer & it's previous model. I suggest if it's still in warranty contact the vendor or the manufacturer. Most icing caused from inadequate insulation in the door. I'm sorry there's no easy answer but to keep from ruining the items in the freeze,r if out of warranty have a service tech check it out.
