Is A Grease Filter Important In A Microwave Oven

I understand you want to know if the grease filters are necessary in your Frigidaire microwave, model# FFMV164LS. Per your manual, “To avoid risk of personal injury or property damage, do not operate oven hood without filters properly in place.” I would definitely say that the filters would be needed in this case.
