Have To Push Start Button Twice To Operate

Bought this unit about 2.25 yrs ago. Had it installed by Home Depot When dishwasher is loaded, ready to operate, I push the start button and sounds like it's draining, then stops. I push the start button again and cycle runs through and does a good job cleaning. Why do I have to push the start button twice to operate?

Hi! A common problem with touchpad washing systems are problems with the electronics that control the machine. This is likely the problem you are having. Sadly the only way to get this fixed is to call or bring the product to a service center, and the electronics are not cheap. Unless you are extremely bothered by having to press the button twice or have spare money lying around, I suggest not getting this fixed unless a more major control problem comes up.

Hope this helps! If it does, please click on the Accept Answer button. I will greatly appreciate it! :)
