How To Install Frigidaire Dehumidifier Filter

Hello michma, that’s a great question!
In order to remove the filter of your Frigidaire dehumidifier (FDF70S1) you would have needed to remove the bucket. Then pull the filter downwards for cleaning. The filter can be clean by using clean water or vacuum cleaner extension hose. If you use clean water, please allow the filter to dry. Once you reinstalled the filter then replace the bucket exactly how you removed it. To extinguish the light simply press the FILTER button and your dehumidifier should resume normal operations. Remember it is best to clean your filter every two weeks based on normal operating conditions and typically the FILTER REST light will illuminate after 250 hours of operation.
