Good Morning Stridkcar,

I see that your Frigidaire dehumidifier, model# FDF70S1, is not drawing water. There are a couple of possibilities that could be causing this.

1) Make sure your dehumidifier is located in an enclosed area on a level floor and that it has a minimum of a 12 inch clearance around your appliance.

2) The appliance is designed to function in an area between 41 degrees Fahrenheit and 96 degrees Fahrenheit.

3) Make sure the tank is empty and fitted correctly. If it is not, then your appliance will not turn on.

4) Make sure that you have left your dehumidifier upright for one hour prior to turning it on.

5) Make sure that your dehumidifier is plugged in and the house fuse is not blown.

If you are still having trouble with your dehumidifier not drawing water, I suggest contacting the manufacturer for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-
