Hi paulzweifel! Great question that I would highly recommend contacting another service professional to complete. I say this because the heater element is a highly sensitive piece of mechanics that is located towards the left rear of the appliance. You would need to take the dryer appliance about half way apart from the back/bottom to reach the burner mounting bracket and heat shield. This is not a typical do it yourself case so please consider calling a second repair clinic.
