Hi acsw89,

I understand that your Frigidaire Washing Machine will not lock and start. I also understand that it will just stay on pause and turn off after a few minutes. I would suggest to reset the appliance, by either unplugging it from the wall or cutting the power at the circuit breaker. When you do this, you will want to leave it off for at least 3 minutes to give it a chance to fully reset. If there are any more issues to where it does not start, you may need a certified tech to come out and pinpoint what exactly is causing the washer to not start up. Alternatively, you can go onto the manufacturer website to locate a servicer in your area.

Hope this helps.

-Best Regards-
