How To Clean My Frigidair Dehumidifer Filter...model Fad504dud?

How doe I clean my dehumidifier filter? I pulled it out. Do I vacuum it or rinse with water?

With these units you actually have the option for both. You can use a dry or wet action to clean the filter. Either way, make sure you let the filter sit and be completely dry before you insert it back in the unit, and turn the unit on. Also make sure you clean all that you can on and around the unit for debris as well. You do not want any debris or dust getting inside of the unit if possible.
