The part that is leaning inwardly on your 2006 Ford Freestar is called the camber. Camber is the angle between the top of your tire and the road. If the camber is too positive, it will cause your tire to lean inwardly. This can lead to premature wear on the inside of your tire and can also make your car handle poorly.

There are a few things that can cause the camber on your Freestar to be too positive. One possibility is that you have hit a curb or pothole, which can bend the suspension components and change the camber. Another possibility is that your struts or control arms are worn out, which can also change the camber.

If you think that the camber on your Freestar is too positive, you should take it to a qualified mechanic to have it checked out. They will be able to diagnose the problem and make the necessary repairs.

In some cases, a positive camber can be caused by a worn steering knuckle. If the steering knuckle is worn, it can cause the tire to lean inward. This is a more serious problem than a worn strut or control arm, and it will require more extensive repairs.

If the camber on your Freestar is too positive, it is important to have it fixed as soon as possible. Driving with a positive camber can lead to premature wear on your tires and can also make your car handle poorly.

Here are some of the symptoms of a positive camber:

  • The inside of your tires will wear out more quickly than the outside.
  • Your car will pull to one side when you drive.
  • Your car will be more difficult to handle in corners.

If you notice any of these symptoms, it is important to have your camber checked by a qualified mechanic.
