Aux Input Adapter

I own a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid. It came equiped with the Audiophile 6-CD stereo. The model number on the side of the unit is: 6L8T-18C815-FD. On the face are a SAT button and an AUX button that do nothing. I am looking for information regarding an input adapter, after market or whatever, that can be installed so I can play music from my iPhone4 or my iPod without having to use an FM modulator. I have two of them and they don't work very well. I have searched the internet extensively. I have contacted PAC to no avail. I now turn to Ford to help me with this search. PLEASE help me figure this out!! I'm not-so-slowly losing patience with this situation!! Thank you, Shaun Upton
