Location A/c Compressor Oiler, Possibly Needs Oil?

Is it possible if compressor (A/C) has no oil it would make noise after running for 10 minutes, as I say it has gotten warmed up?Clement Yandow

You add compressor oil to the low side, just like you add Freon.
