How Do I Replace The Timing Belt?

Windstars have timing chains, not timing belts. Replacing one is a big job. You'll need an engine lift for raising the motor and all the tools for this procedure. Otherwise you'll have to have it done professionally.

The good news is it's probably not necessary. Your chain should last the life of the engine without being serviced.
