2001 Ford Xlt A4wd, 4.6 V8.often Goes Dead On Take Off,an Changing Into Gear On

In the am crack up an put in D an it goes dead,an when I take off it's like it's not getting gas to take off.

The problem is the DPFE sensor giving bad info to the ECU. Took forever to find this. Replace/repair DPFE sensor. If faulty, this sensor will cause the ECU to 'think' the fuel mixture is too rich. It tries to thin the mixture and that stalls the car/truck. Very common problem on this era Fords.
