As you have found out, there are many things that can make a car hard to start and idle rough. But at least you have eliminated a lot of them!

I'm only guessing here, but I would start with the oxygen sensor. That could cause both of your problems. After that, I would replace the TPS (throttle position sensor).

You could also spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body while the car is running. Spray it in short spurts so the car doesn't stall. Be careful, though! Carb cleaner is very flammable, so spray it at arm's length in case of an engine backfire. If it runs better, then you probably just had a dirty throttle body or dirty TPS sensor.
