Steering Column Movement Triggers The Alarm (beeping) As If The Doors Were Open

my Ford Taurus whenever I move the steering column triggers the alarm for my door saying the door is open it is a loud annoying beeping noise I also when I shut my door it doesn't stop I think there's a short somewhere by the light by the feet please help
