No Heat Or Defogger

my 1998 ford expedition does not get heat and the defogger does not work, I replaced the thermostat and coolant, could it be water pump? but doesnt leak

Your heater core is probably plugged up. The heater core is under the dash, on the passenger side. It looks like a small radiator. You can see the heater core lines coming out of the firewall. There are two hoses that attach to them.

Not hard to replace, but sometimes hard to get to. You may have to remove the glove box and a few other parts to get to the heater core.
