After Replacing Motor&switch My Window Just Heats Up Switch/ Does Not Work

I have replaced a burned out motor and switch for the drivers side. the window still does not work and switch just heats up. if I hot wire motor, in one direction window goes up and the other direction the window goes down. wires ohm out yet switch heats up and window does not work. what should i look at now?
