1991 F350 7.3 Ltr

the truck on way from seattle to phoenix stopped allowing me to see the fuel level in the rear tank and will not run on rear tank. I have changed the selector switch and checked fuses but no change and also both tanks read 1/4 tank but quit running when at this level. need to leave for seattle in a week for in a week and the second tank makes it so i can by the cheaper fuel and make it pass the tourist traps and i am hauling a second truck back with me so really need help thanks
