Radiator Lower Hose To Water Pump 460 Cid Engine
This engine has 2 lower hoses, the one going to the water pump is very short, has different id on each end and is at an extreme degree of angle. I have tried almost everything to get a new one on (I had to cut the old one off) and no mater what I do I can not get both ends on. Is there some trick to this. Please help.

in order to install you must first move the box that hose attaches too. There are two bolts directly on the bottom of the box that are 3/8 and u will need a narrow deep socket to access the second one. At first it will appear not to fit but it will when u sneak the socket on first then add the ratchet. After removing both bolts expect oil to leak out around the one that is toward the back...then slide the box to the side creating space to install. Btw, do this with the oil drained and filter off. Use a little oil on the inside of the hose if needed to help slip on.
