I Sent An Item Back, Was Charged A Fee, Trying To Get Somone In Usa To Talk To

i sent an item back to fingerhut because i was not happy with the item. i paid to send it back to fingerhut. then one day i received a phone call telling me i am going to collections. they told me i had to pay for them shipping the item to me and they had sent me a bill. i never received a bill (i later received one after they called me with the extra charges on it). i tried calling them but could not understand a lot of what they were saying due to the accent of all the representatives. i finally got one i understood and was told if i paid a certain amount the late fee would be taken off. of course they are still trying to bill me. i used up most of my minutes on my phone due to being put on hold so often. Help, how do i get this resolved
