Fender Fm 212 Dsp. Was In A Venue With Some Plugins Wired Backwards I Found Out
Fender Fm 212 dsp guitar amplifier. Was in a venue with some plugins wired backwards I found out later. mikes had power on them. inadvertently swung around and touched my mike with my top guitar string. 6 inches of blue fire and burned my top guitar string in to. Now the green channel light stays on and will not switch either on the amp or with the foot switch. noticeable hum but no sound except the power amp section from the rear plugs still works. Thought the pc board had probably burned a trace into but that it not the case. All the transistors, diodes and zeners test okay. Guess it probably took out an I C. Thanks for any help.

reset and try!! if not change the IC- make sure check all other diodes!!
