Although your question was truncated on account of your attempting to squeeze the entire question into the title, I'm guessing the site asserts your email address is not valid.
On this site this will happen if you click SIGN UP before entering the email address. Enter the email address first.
If that's not the issue, some sites will (strangely, I admit) reject an email address if it's copied from the system clipboard or from a password manager. This has happened to me. Try typing the address manually.
