I Have Tried To Tell Facebook That There Is An Impostor Pretending To Be Me

Someone set up a FB page using my nickname and my maiden name "Lizzie Ford". She is using my email to get into facebook. Every time I change my password, he/she changes it back. I reached out to facebook well over ten times and nothing has been done. In the past two months my identity was stolen and even though I had my credit cards in my possession, some how they were used to buy things on the Internet. This is now an FBI case and they did ask why FB did not delete the impostor. My answer was because they don't give a DARN. I have not been on my FB in months because every time I tried to get in Lizzie Ford's page continue to come up. Today, for some reason I was asked for my password and since I did not know it I got a new one. I finally saw my account and returned messages. Lizzie Ford had the guts to ask me to be one of his/her friends. When I tried getting on it a few minutes ago, I received a message that either my user name or password did not match. Which means FB allowed this impostor to change my password again. Which meant I had to change my password. FB is suppose to be fun, but since FB let it go this far it has done nothing cause me stress. Below are my Details:FB Name: Lizzie Westervelt a/k/a Mary Thompson HeplerPlease close don this impostor's FB page and please don't send me instructions on how to do it myself, I followed the instructions, however as you must know, for some reason I could not make the changes to delete Lizzie Ford's Account. Please help me, I do not know what else to do.Mary Thompson Hepler

Although it's true we're not Facebook, I can direct you to the procedure for enlisting Facebook's help. I recommend that you file this form (whose use will help you reset your password, but go further). You may also want to look over these additional tips.

Hi. Sorry to be the bearer of sad news but HelpOwl is a third party Q&A and have no direct involvement with Facebook or any other company for which support is offered. I would suggest you press much on the FBI as they have the power to have Facebook deleting the page in question soonest.
