Why Some Times Addfriend Does Not Work In Facebook

friend request must have been temporarily disabled. Its usually 2 days, 4 days or a week. Depends on why facebook has disabled it. When you add too many friends too quickly or you cross the friend request limit then this happens. Facebook does it to stop spamming. sometimes facebook bans friend request permanently if you continue spamming or violating its rules.

In some cases when you visit a profile and if that person has disabled friend request then you won't see 'add as friend'. It could be even caused by temporary website malfunction or network problems.
