The Text Of A Link I Posted Was Changed Automatically To Be Spelled Wrong. Why?

I posted a link on my company's Facebook page. The caption under the title that is automatically extracted from the first paragraph from text from the link came out wrong and automatically misspelled a word. I did not manually type it out or edit it to be wrong. And now that the link is posted and live, I cannot edit that portion of the post. I would love some advice on why this happened and how to prevent this from happening in the future.

Hello, if all you did was copy and paste the link, then it's likely the wrong spelling came from the site that is linked to, and not from your link. There could be something spelled wrong with that site, and even if you don't notice it when you look at the page, it could be something in the "meta" data spelled wrong. In Chrome, you can sometimes view the HTML code of a page by pressing F6, which can show you if something is spelled wrong in the coding.
