I Recently Received Notifications That Stated: Someone Sent You 3 Premium Gifts

My question is this: Someone has been sending several notifications. The notification read: Someone has sent you 3 premium gifts...Someone has sent you a rose...Someone has sent you a hug...etcetera. Did someone or are these system generated? Very important, I received more than 200 of these! Help!
