Why Do I Not Get My New Password Sent To Me

I have forgotten my password and I follwo the procedure to get a new password but do not get the mail with the confirmation reset code. It has been more than three weeks now and I'm getting a bit frustrated. It also keeps telling that my email is the incoreect one which it is not. My name is Oliver Oppenberg and I want ot get onto facebook. Please assist as soon as possible. Thanks
