Unable To Get On Facebook Site Temporarily Unavailable. Due To Site Issues?

what does it mean when my accout says temporarily unavailable due to site issue? Friends say my profile is still their but not posts are showing ? I can't even attemp to log on ?

Facebook is probably making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on. During this time, you will not be able to gain access to your account. In most instances, this maintenance will last only a few hours.

Facebook doesn't do site maintenance on all accounts at the same time, so it's possible that some of your friends will have full access even though you don't.

If your maintenance lasts longer than 24 hours, you may wish to follow these instructions to clear your browser's cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, try submitting this Facebook form.

Facebook uses many different servers to allow the users to connect. There are over 500 million users so that takes a LOT of servers. I would wager that the server or servers that service your part of the world are simply down for maintence.

Would be nice if they put up a notice about these things but they don't seem to.

Wait a few hours and then try again, odds are things will work again.
