Trouble Signing Up For Facebook

I was signing up for facebook and there was an error in the confirmation stage. It produced a working page but i cannot log into it. It keeps telling me my email is not a valid account but it is sending me facebook alerts to that account. I tried signing up again and it went through just fine but now there are two facebook pages for me and i can't log in to the other one to delete it. Help!
