A Script In Fb Is Causing My Program To Stop. What Can I Do About It?

I started to get it in games so I uninstalled a lot of games I don't use. Then I replaced my flash program. I now get it in the FB status page. A pop-up will come up that says "Stop running this script?" "A script on this page has caused Internet Explorer to run slowly, If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive." I have closed the program and scanned for virises and trojans with nothing showing up. I Don't have any idea of what to do next to find out what's wrong. Will you help me?

Scripts are controlled by your browser's security settings, accessable via its toolbar. If you use Firefox, you can install the NoScript extension, which disables all scripts by default (but allow you to enable them selectively).
