Requesting New Password. Sent To Inactive Email Acct. What To Do?

trying to recover original fb acct. don't remember password. followed process to recover password, but was told code was sent to an email acct that is no longer active.

If you've added a mobile number to your account, you can log in by entering that number in the Email field. (Start with the country code and remove any leading zeroes and symbols.) You also may be able to get into your account by answering a security question or getting help from friends. Details are here.
