The period of Facebook to assess a fake account varies based on the research made by Facebook. As long as you have done the proper procedure of reporting a fake Facebook account, just wait and give Facebook the time they need to assess and verify that account. Trust me.. I am presently facing the same problem.. There is a fake account by my name so i did a detailed research as to how can i remove that.. You report a fake account and the status of your report is displayed on the support dashboard.. Authorities say it takes 48 hours so if your report is not attended to in 2 hours.. your best bet will be to report it again.. And to make it faster.. tell your friends too report harrasment from that profile as well!! hope that helps!!
