If A Person Is Un-friended In Error On My Timeline, How Can I Again Friend Them?

I accidentally hit the wrong button on my timeline and un-friended my sister, who is very upset about it... I dont know how to get her back as a relative or friend again on Facebook...Her feelings are really hurt and I can't believe that there is no way to remedy this.

Hi, you should be able to search for her using the search bar at the top of the Facebook page, and once you find her you can send her a request again. If you can't find her in the search bar, she may have her privacy settings set so that only her friends can find her. If so, either she'll have to change her privacy settings so you can find her, or else she can send you a friend request and you can accept it, and then you will both be friends again.
