How Do I Make Sure My Facebook Page Is A Business Page

I clicked on the "make a page for a business etc" and walked through it but the page looks to me to be a personal page....I want to add a "become a fan" button etc....and also add business info not personal info. After hours of trying to figure it out....I deactivated the account and tried to start from scratch but it wouldn't allow me to since it was the same email address...can someone help me out on this?
