If it's truly a virus, and if you use Windows, the best advice I can give you is to run the free Microsoft Safety Scanner, which promises to remove as well as detect infections.

There may however be other causes.

Facebook may have determined suspicious or deceptive activity that may violate Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms). To dispute that, you can file the form at http://www.facebook.com/help/contact/?id=260749603972907.

Facebook may be making an improvement to the database your account is stored on. During this time, you won't be able to gain access to your account. In most instances, this maintenance will last only a few hours. (Facebook doesn't do site maintenance on all accounts at the same time, so it's possible that some of your friends will have full access even though you don't.) If the issue lasts longer than 24 hours, you may want to try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, submit the form at https://www.facebook.com/help/www/186570224871049.
