How To Delete A Picture My Friends Have Been Tagged In But I Can't Find It?

Okay a friends just messaged me saying someone must have hacked me and put up a pornographic photo and tagged her and other friends of mine in it, she asked that i delete it. I looked all over my profile, the news feed, photos, apps, nothing I couldn't find the photo. Then I told her I couldn't find it and for the time being delete the tag for now, but she messaged back the notification is gone. I just want to make sure the picture is deleted, and I don't have to worry about getting in trouble or other friends seeing this. What do I do?

Sounds like someone's account has been compromised. It could be your account, however it could also be one of your other friend accounts. In this case, I would suggest changing your password, and having your friends do the same. This happens alot unfortunately. I found this article on accounts being hacked incase you would like to see the steps involved, but you may be safe from having to go this route.

When you try to log in to your Facebook account you get a message saying Incorrect Email/Password Combination. I assume you have tried to recover your password using reset password feature. If not, click here to give it a try. If this won’t work there are good chances that your account has been hacked.

Follow these steps to recover your hacked Facebook account:

Visit http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_nologin_access

Contact email address: enter your email address, if possible the same email you have registered account with
Full name on the account: enter your full name on the account so they will be able to verify application
Network(s) the account belongs to: try provide as many possible networks, including school, work network,…
Email addresses that may be affiliated with the account: enter the same email you have created Facebook account with
Your contact email address: use same email as you entered for step #2
URL (web address link) of the profile page: simply copy/paste URL of your profile
Description and steps to reproduce the issue: describe how your account got hacked/stolen, try to provide as many additional information as possible
Submit “My Account Has Been Compromised” form
