How Do I Get My Confirmation Code, It Says It Emailed Me, But It Did Not

Again, to explain, facebook is emailing whatever the confirmation code is to an old email account that I had, but is no longer acessable. I tried to update the email to the current email but it did not take. Help. I am so frustrated.
