I Can'r Edit My User Name Nor Did I Ever Have One. I Want One. What Can I Do? I

I missed posting a user name. Now every time I post my real name shows. I prefer an alias. I have tried to edit but it gives you one and done chance and I blew it. Now i can't do anything without posting with real name. Can I get help from tech support allowing me to get in and make this change. I am totally new to social networking. I cancelled then realized i couldn't re-sign up so I cancelled my cancellation. I really would like to use the site for the intended purposes but would prefer not having my real name shown on all posts.

You cannot change it once you have submitted it

That is correct, you can only do it once according to the instructions below provided by Facebook. At this point, you can only open a new account, your old one cannot be changed again. You can then delete the first one and only use the second account.

How do I change my username? To change your username:

Open the Account dropdown menu at the top right corner of Facebook and choose Account Settings.
Click the Edit link next to Username.
Type your new username in the open field and click Save Changes.

Note: You can only change your username once.
