Annoying Multitude Of Friends Posts Must Stop

I dont want to be rude to a friend but she posts about 20 times a day and I do not want to defriend her but would like to stop getting all her posts daily any way I can stop being notified of her posts without defriending her or can I defriend her without her being notified that I have defriended her?

When you see another post from that friend on your News Feed page (the screen that you see when first log onto Facebook) just hover over the name for a second or two, and you should see a pop-up windown with options for that friend. Uncheck the "Show in News Feed" and you shouldn't see what he/she posts anymore.

By you're question, I felt that you have added her to your "close friends". You could just click on the left sior button and change it from "get notifications" to "no notifications".
